Our ‘Why’

The Salient7 journey started over 15 years ago with technology at the forefront. After designing and implementing numerous user experiences for enterprises, a realization emerged that the technology was only an enabler of the most purposeful and valuable outcome:

Making work life better.

Helping people to have the best work life is our passion. We spend most of our waking hours working. Our work life is intertwined with our personal life - the two can not be separated. Therefore, creating the most purposeful and effective workplace experience can increase the joy, purpose, and satisfaction in our personal lives.

For the business owner, making work life better looks like: a low-stress life where the organization is running smoothly due to clear priorities, an effective strategy, and a great plan. No more lying awake at night worrying about the business and more time and energy to strategically work on the business instead of in the business.

For the employees, making work life better looks like: enjoying your job, enjoying the team you do it with, less frustration because of clear priorities, clear responsibilities, and abandoning that feeling of ‘am I working at the right place?’

The bottom line for the business:

Great plans

+ joyful employees

-> satisfied customers

= business success.

This starts with ensuring your Business Foundations are clear, setting an effective Strategy and Vision, creating The Plan, and measuring the execution of The Plan.

Every team member has a uniquely individual design: their innate wiring, work styles, skills, experience, motivations, and goals. Aligning team members to the roles and responsibilities creates energy that results in performance and employee satisfaction.

Alignment lays a foundation for developing self-management, team management, and leadership skills.

Aligned teams equipped with the skills to lead themselves and their teams will thrive in a well-executed People Strategy with continuous engagement removal of digital and relational friction.

Necessary but insufficient

In today's competitive landscape, many organizations remain unaware of the transformative power of best practices and effective people strategies that drive a truly exceptional Employee Experience. These organizations miss out on unlocking their full potential and fail to optimize their business outcomes.

Employee engagement is necessary but insufficient. It's essential to go beyond mere engagement and strive for true effectiveness. Highly engaged employees may still fall short in delivering the desired results, leading to detrimental business outcomes.

Technology is necessary but insufficient. It is merely a foundational capability. Research demonstrates that relying solely on technology is insufficient to achieve sustained success and maximize business performance.

A management framework is necessary but insufficient. While it brings valuable clarity to your business, ensuring your teams stay focused on the right priorities, it alone cannot guarantee the desired outcomes.

To achieve lasting success, it is crucial to align and integrate these foundational elements within your organization. By harmonizing employee engagement, leveraging technology effectively, and implementing a robust management framework, you unlock the key to optimal business performance.
